I have a '92 Accord with a factory installed alarm. When it gets cold out, the alarm will go off sometimes when I go to start the car. I have no idea what triggers it. It just happens and it totally disables the car and drains the battery. I replaced the battery just yesterday and as soon as I hooked it up and opened the door, the alarm started again. Now, even with the remote button that turns it off, as soon as any door opens, the alarm goes off. I just want to disable it. I don't want to mess with it any more. Is there a wire somewhere that I can find that I can clip, or? I would just like some help without needing to spend a ridiculous amount of money on something like this. Thanks for your help.

 

there might be a fuse you could pull. try to find a wiring diagram online for your car
