OK here it is. This is my plan.I plan on doing a LS swap in the next couple of weeks. From there i plan on going turbo, possibly around FeB/March.I plan on boosting 6-7 pounds. The car will be a daily driver, but once i get the turbo,i will cut back on driving the car and either get a bucket or use my grandparents car from time to time. I was just wondering how long will the car hold up with stock internals?I plan on changing somethings, but it will be a process where i get the parts that are more likely to blow first and the stronger parts last. My friend said the first thing i will want to change is, umm i cant remember. It was either valves or valves springs. Im still studying on it, but down the line i might get power hungry and add a VTEC head. I have a back up set of pistons and rods just in case. What have you guys had happen from experience, thanks for your time.
if you get your car tuned right with hondata. 6 psi should be fine hell 8 psi would be fine. Ive heard of people boosting 12 psi no problems for years.
yeah, if its properly tuned, your car will run for many years on 6-7 psi. I would only upgrade your valvesprings if you plan on extending your redline. I would worry about your pistons and rods first.
