Default Max Boost with Greddy 18G before heat effeciency???

I know this turbo is smal but its what i have to work with. Im running at 9 psi now, but i would like to boost it at 16 psi

Is that too high? What could happen (cons)?

Thanks in advance

i maxed out my 18g @ about 18 psi whit some spike
i loved this turbo cuz its spool fast and has more low end thorque
18g is a perfect match for street
just get a 2.5 inch downpipe whit dump tube(clik the link down to see my custom downpipe ) whit a 3 inch exaust and crank up the boost!!

The tech people at greddy told me that it starts to be most efficent around 15 psi.
But then again that's what they told me and they give different answers depending on who you talk to. the most knowledgable tech would be Kenji.
