im sure the question has been asked but i couldnt find it on here. i have a B18c motor in my del sol. people are telling me its not jdm.. so now im confused. And how do you know if its a itr motor?

 

it should be stamped B18C if it is a JDM Integra Type R motor or B18C5 for USDM Integra Type R motor.

JDM motors do not have a number behind the letter
B18C1 USDM GSR
B18C5 USDM ITR
B18C JDM sir or itr(notice both have the same B18C code)
As far as the ITR, head code and Intake manifold are usually dead give aways, but they can easily have been swapped.

 

The kids you talk to are idiots. If the block is stamped B18C, it's JDM. The head may not be however. But for all intents and purposes, you have a JDM motor.

jdm gsr with 75k. runs really strong. how much would u guys say its worth...

 

depends on where you live.. in cali motors are a dime a dozen
over here an ls vtec is like 1000
usdm is worth more than jdm over here
so id say a gsr longblock legit running stong with paper work and depending on the year is about 1500 maybe more maybe less
