civic ek cluster
looking for some ways to mod my cluster to look a little better... i have an ex cluster and am looking for any suggestions... i have a carbonfiber print on it but am starting to not like it so i think im gonna take it off...
Get LEDs for the light bulbs in the back. Red LEDs or white LEDs makes is 10x brighter and looks 1000x better. Thats what I did to mine at first. But now I have an SI cluster.
would you happen to know all the bulb sizes that need to be replaced? you should sell me your si cluster?lol
Do not use LEDs in your cluster. It's a waste of money and LEDs do not adequately light your cluster. There are hot and cold spots rampant. Also, I've heard there are problems, that even when they are done right, they're bright as hell and F with your night driving.
All you need are some incandescent bulbs from autoillumination.com. I just did and re - did my whole cluster with red lighting for $10 shipped.

I used LEDs and worked fine for me
I guess it depends on what brand you get.

Incandescents are so much easier for just $10.

Here's the website I went to to get my lights. You'll need 5 #24 Bulbs and 1 #194. Get 6 and 2 respectively however. I did and it turned out one of the #24's they sent me was bad. Glad I bought extra. Each bulb is only a dollar each too, so it's a win.

And here is the walkthrough.
