**H22a4 Fully built-sleeved-low compresion** VALVE QUESTION!!
Hey guys, im new to the site from NC but have been using it for years for referance and info. Im asking these questions to narrow down what im getting into with my motor.

the motor is in a eg hatch-not that it matters but just adding that-
-Motor was sent to california to be built for boost, hardly nothing was left stock. Im gonna add a parts list later on but its not needed to answer my ?'s.
Its street tuned on 10lbs and made 298whp untill i get a bigger-better throttle body and boost controller
*As you all know the factory h22 hydrolic timing belt tensioner is junk. And now i have a first hand experiance why--
***under normall driving conditions(speed limit 5th gear) the tensioner pulley bolt backed out/broke causing the timing to slip. Engine was instantly cut off and towed home. I set the bottom timing mark to TDC and the cam gear marks were pointing at about 8 o'clock(like pointing to the front lip)
Im wondering since the motor has low compresion pistons and seeing how far it slipped if i have bent valves or not????
1.My manual tensioner convertion is on the way here and i will install that with a new timing belt.
2.Before trying to start the motor i will do a compression and leak down test and if its bad then i prob. have bent valves. Im praying i will get lucky because a supertech valvetrain isnt gonna be cheap to replace.
WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK???

that's going to be really hard to say. If you let it roll for long with the timing off there might be dmg, but considering you said it had all been rebuilt, and it was built for boost with lower compression, chances are your valves don't come as close to the piston as if it were say an all motor build, so you might have been lucky if you got it shut off right away. You will really only know when you are done putting parts back together and start the engine.
