Icon3 GSR into EG swap. Issues with linkage.

i am doing a gsr swap in a eg civic... motor is in and with a gsr linkage bought i try to align it and if i connect the tranny the two bolts that go to the body , next to the shifter looks to be about 2" too small. are ther differnet lenght shift linkages for b-series tranies?
any help will be greatly appreciated.

thanks,

nice title btw

you probably bought the wrong linkage.

del sol's with the b16 had a shorter shifter because i made the mistake of buying one for my 98 hatch.

I fixed the title.

From the ToS https://honda-tech.com/forums/general-discussion-debate-40/site-guidelines-2599445/

When starting a topic, make the title specific enough that people scanning the list of forum topics will know what's inside. "Need help" or "have a question" are not specific enough. If you want someone to open your topic, give people an idea what it's about.

Please keep that in mind the next time you're making a thread.

thanks,
I have seen bent shift linkages before, so that could be an issue. As far as I know though, any b series linkage should work for you except for the del sol linkage as listed above..

Del Sol linkages are actually longer '90 - '93 Integra are very slightly shorter than '94 - '01. I'm guessing it's an '88 - '91 Civic/CR-X B-series linkage, IIRC they're shorter.

The del sol linkage is actually bent to go up into the shifter area of the del sol (due to the chassis design of the del sol), so it will not work at all. '90 to '93 integra are actually exactly the same as '94 to '01, except for the fact that they have the narrower base single bend shifter like a d series linkage would.
