Default Swaping an integra B18c1 motor in a civic Eg hatchback

The transmission of the Gsr Motor is Hydrulic or not? . What is the Hatchback, and do i need to do any custom work for the shift linkage, and shifter boots. Another words do i need to switch from cable to hydrulic or vis versa? Help me out techs..

both cars are hydro, so you don't have to convert or change anything. I did this swap (94-95 b18c into 94 eg si) for the first time about a month ago. It wasn't hard at all, very straight forward swap.

as for the shift linkage, just use the gsr linkage, the civic linkage won't bolt to the gsr tranny. we used the eg shifter on the dc linkage (Not sure if you can use the dc one or not?). it all worked perfect, no mods needed to any boots.

HAHAHAHHAHHAHHAHAHAHA, here is their preview about the show

They’ll jerk the stock motor and replace it with a more powerful V-tech engine, along with a new camshaft, header and performance clutch.

Oh man, thats funny ****, i really wanna watch so i can laugh.

That came on a few weeks ago. I taped it

It was pretty informative. There is actually a review on that episode. Not sure if it's here on H-T or another board....

PS <> I'm in the middle of this swap right now!!! Cx motor is out, GSR waiting maintenance parts and to be dropped in

im in the same scenario as you, just a little farther along. Make sure you get Energy motor inserts for it, they will help a lot.

I've got to install a bunch of new parts before I drop it in. This week the motor should be in the bay and ready to wired in....
