Default is there no fuel cutoff on a 93 d15b7 p06 ecu?

im reading the service manual and it shows that d15b7 fuel cutoff is at 5800 rpm.

i have all original ecu and engine with no mods and when i reved it up it went just short of 7000 before i let go. that kinda surprised me.

OEM tachs are notoriously inaccurate. Also I think the fuel cut is only actually working while driving. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. I don't see a point in a fuel cutoff. You won't be making power up there on a D15B7. There's no point in revving it that high.

They'll cut out around 7500 ish on a factory tach. Redline is supposed to be around 6800

Oh, I thought you were tlking about fuel cutoff from hitting speed limiter. Worst feeling ever if you weren't expecting it at the time.

The information in your service manual is not correct, as the rev-limiter does not engage until just over 7,000 rpms on a B7, Just so you know, these engines do not make any power in that region, so there really isn't a need to rev it that high.
