Default 93 civic vx NEEDS POWER

i have a civic hatch with a d15z1 vtec e motor and i was wondering if i put a z5 hx intake manifold and a b16 throttle body and say a header if that would increase horsepower and if there is anything else i could do to increase power

There would really be no point why feed extra air to motor with lean burn. Why get rid of 45mpg. if you want more power swap in a d16z6 or a b18 both cheap and easy to put in. You'd be disappointed after putting all that on and not even notice a difference and lose 5-10 mpg.
