Default code 10 rough running help

b18b1 in a 93 hatch obd1. car was throwing code 10 intake air temp sensor found that the wires were bare just at the base i couldnt get a pig tail so i sealed them up, they were in good shape just the casing wore thru. cleared the code by disconnecting the ground on the batt and it threw it again so i tested the resistance of the plug at 40 deg it was like 1.4 wich is in spec i beleive as far as running like crap when its cold and i accelerate sputters and runs like **** when it warms up smooths out for the most part

I've driven many cars with code 10 and it doesn't change running condition that I've have noticed, I'd try things such as cleaning iacv and fast idle easy to do and cost nothing. I had a d16z6 swap in a Ef that ran like crap when cold and the iacv had been completely filled with grime cleaned it and car ran 1000 times better.
