Hey guys, thought I'd give you an update on how things were going over here.

I ordered the bearings from the states cos it worked out £80 cheaper believe it or not, although I had to wait 3 weeks for them to come. anyway, replaced the rod bearings and got the sump back on today and topped her back up with oil. Then, for the first time in months she started!!!! Woohoo!

Seem to have developed a knock in the supercharger, but as the sub frame isn't on and I'm thinking it might be moving.

unless anyone has any ideas as to why a nearly new supercharger has developed a knock?

 

Just because it's new doesn't make it perfect... Things can be bad right out of the box from the factory... sucks though that it as developed a knock.
