Default how long for rod knock to get really bad and loud?

if i'm hearing very quit rod knock right now, about how many miles can i expect to get before it get's loud?

i almost managed to get through a whole summer with a rod knocking (i was babying it all the time) until it decided to go through the block and say hi

ANY Rod knock is REALLY bad.
But it is impossible to say how long it will last. A minute, an hour, maybe months. Only one way to find out.

dont drive on it get it fixed cuz what might happen is WHEN it breaks it could mess up more stuff then you just dropping the pan and relacing the bearings...example...bend connecting rod.
