lsd and 60 ft.
anyone have any 1st hand knowledge of their 60ft times before and after they installed a limited slip. i have heard many stories and opinions but i'm looking for some answers from people that have actually run their cars both ways.
from personal experience......with drag racing, a lsd will improve your consistency through out the entire run as much as your actual 60 ft. alot depends on your set up. the more power your making the more it will help you. for instance, with 500 hsp, i spin far beyond the 60. having a lsd helps all the way through the first three gears. if your making good power, its worth the money.
I went from 2.6's and 2.7's to now running 2.2's and 2.3's, to me that makes a really big differnce. The main thing is that you have a much stronger differential and it is much more dependable!!!!!!!

I may just buy the GSR motor w/o LSD and when I rebuild it add LSD since it doesn't seem to make that much of a difference.....
How about your over all 1/4 or 1/8th time w/ and w/o LSD?
