Default three VSS still nothing

I've put three vss in my 93 h22 prelude and still nothing. My ecu is throwing a vss code and I've tested the connection its getting power and ground. Also I looked at the teeth on end of shaft and in transmission, both good. And I've reseted the ecu. Please help

Did you check the signal from the sensor to the ECU?

ok i just went through tis myself , it can only be a few things.

1. VSS itself being bad (you said youve repalced it.)
2. Bad cluster (Hard to come by nowadays) (AND YES A BAD CLUSTER IN A PRELUDE WILL MAKE IT THROW A CODE AND NO VTEC)
3. Wiring issue.
4. Fuse

First thing i would say is to pull the vss plug out and pull the wires out of the plug head and check the where the wires connect to the pins (MAKE A NOTE OF HOW THEY CAME OUT) if the plug wires are frayed at all replace the connector point! (solved my problem)

the ecu point for obd1 VSS pulse is b10 (orange wire) if you wanna check that

you can also check the vss itself by bulling it out of the car and keeping the connector attached and taking the drive pin and putting it in a drill to spin it while a friend watches the speedo and you use a analog multimeter on the ornage wire at the plug and see if you get voltage pulses.

Fixn a vss is a trial by error kind thing i found out

you can asl find the wiring diagram at spoonertuner.com
