ek headlamp+hid bi xenon
ok i bought the bi-xenon hid from retro soulutions... they have a galre sheild on the bulb itself. i installed them and the light seems to be spattered around like the light isnt evenly distrubuted around... as if my lens were either dirty or whatever. its not the lens be cuz their new... i then took off the glare sheild off the bulb be cuz the headlamp has its own built in... seems to have gotten worse... any sugestions... their pissing me off because their expensive hids... my fog lights have hids as well and put out better lighting... do i need to remove the glare sheild from the housing and just use the one from the bulb?
What you NEED to do is retro fit a projector housing with a true cut off plate into your stock headlamps. For a bi xeon youre going to need a bi xeon projector which had a little plate that flips up for high beams. youre NEVER going to get a cut off beam with a stock housing, All the reflectors in the headlight just throws the HID in a million different directions. Check out the retrofit source.

You just found the reason why people dislike PNP kits.
Which way to do you have the sheild? Like is the bottom of the sheild above the bottom of the headlight?
My bulbs have a rather large sheild around them and the light isnt scatterd too bad.

The headlamp sheild is cover on the top of the bulb and so is the sheild for the hid light. I figured since the stock bulb didn't have a sheild that the hid one wouldn't need one either but it seemed to have gotten worse. What's pnp if u don't mind me asking?
PNP= Plug and Play
You want the sheild/bulb to be in the headlight so it the sheild is facing the bottom of the headlight. A lot of the glare is coming from the bottom peice of the headlight.
You want the open part of the bulb/sheild facing the top of the headlight....
You will never have a perfect beam patturn, and It will always throw glare. To fix that, you'll need a retro fit.
