stick with the stock housing ,...i use to have the projectors,..back in the day when i thought they looked good,.then they started looking like *** so i went back to stock,...even if HIDs put out better lightout put in the projector housings,..i would still stick to the stockers

"even if HIDs put out better lightout put in the projector housings,..i would still stick to the stockers" believe me HIDs do NOT have better output in projector housings
aftermarket projectors SUCK - from personal experience - I had projectors in my '97 hatch running a good philips HID kit (h3 d2s 6000k ultinons) output was CRAP this is do to the design of the aftermarket projector housings. The H3 housing is designed for FOG lights (for wide & short dispursement of light) instead of driving lights (for narrow & long disbursement). Not to mention the housings are cheaply made - my cutoff was real crooked like / / (not THAT crooked but you get the idea) see https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=462641 for pics. (this relates to aftermarket projectors that use H3 bulbs as the lowbeam. This does not relate to projectors that may use H1 bulbs (the TYC ones i think), because I do not have personal experience with them
I have since bought OEM CTR headlamps (for my '00 hatch) & will be running autolamps H4 hylow kit....(same kit as Apex i ITR) new pics & full review coming soon (the kit should be here today - shipped from England on Monday )
cliff notes: aftemarket projectors - even with HIDs
oem housings with HIDs or HIDs projectors retro-fitted into housings (see https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=495898)
