I'm in the market for a new transmission.
Found plenty of 96' spec and USDM ITR transmission, just want the bigger final drive.
If you have the item I'm looking for give me a text and we can work something out.
I also a jdm b16 transmission for trade/ sale as well.

I thought it was the opposite. The 98+ JDM ITR tranny has a 4.7 final drive, compared to a 4.4 on all other B-series trannies, making the 4.7 a shorter gear (higher rpm) while cruising on the highway.
You speak the truth, I have both. The gearing is the same except for the final drive.

I don't know why but all the site's I've looked up shows that the 98' spec runs the GSR 4th and 5th gear.
Correct me if I'm wrong.

These sites are pretty legit.

yes the 98+ itr tranny uses the gsr 4-5 but because of the final drive it is still shorter geared than a us itr or pre 98 jdm itr tranny check this trans calculator it will show you. http://www.zealautowerks.com/transcalc.php
how much do you want for the b16 tranny shoot me a pm

I'll think about it, it's the final drive that's the kicker. Plus Fluid rebuild that transmission so I'm skeptical about it, they claim to use "OEM" parts.
Ive been considering whether or not I want to sell mine. 98+ spec JDM ITR trans from HMO (has HMO stamp to prove it) w/ OEM 4.7 FD, OEM LSD, N3E something or another black trans label is still perfectly visible.
Its my spare right now. Still undecided if I should keep it or sell to fund other projects.

Well you have 2 months to think about it
I'm not in a hurry or anything, my b16 tranny is still good, just want that lsd so this coming winter I'll have better traction.
Shoot me a pm about the pricing, I prefer local sales more than having it ship.

LOL. PM me when the time comes that you are ready and hopefully I will have made my mind up.
I could use the money to fund other parts, but I cant help the paranoia of thinking that once I sell it I'll end up needing it!
