. he is a scammer ask him about how many customers hes ripped of? how long it takes for him to get a customers car out of the shop? last i heard was that he is gettin sued. that foo still owes a gang of money to his customers . u care to explain any of this on the thread.. when u get your motor "built" theres a bunch of shady **** in this process ie. charges u for new bearings but they dont touch that **** they just leave the old ones. also if u know any of his customers ask them how long it takes and what apiece of crap the motor is when it comes out, It takes about a year andur ls vtec motors has 130whp and 125 torque for a" fully built" piece of **** . How many regulars customers do u have Tim? huh and dont have ur friends respond to this have some "customers" respond to this thread o yeah and if he owes u something or is laggin on ur **** he doesnt pick up his phone

ive seen you post many times about this guy, you must feel pretty strongly. this just goes to show that you gotta treat your customers well cause ive got a feeling this tim guy wont be in the business too much longer.

there is not one thing shady about our shop....and instead of talking trash...run one of our 130hp ls/vtecs pick any one...all of our customers are down to run trash talkers.

hmmmm i have one of those "130whp" lsvtecs......im more then willin got run you.....i seem to not have any problem runing 13.3 on street tires....weird how a lsvtec with only "130" can be so fast......your a donkey

man...for a shop owner he snapped at someone pretty quick. i personally love great customer service. i wouldn't mind spending that extra lil money just cuz i know that they are good people.

 

the reason why he snapped is that tim doesn know who the **** these people are and especially vain who is spreading all this ****

seriously... you see people respong wit good feedback... now why would he choose who to rip off and who to hook up? it makes me wonder who these other people are

I know nothing about the shop or scamming behavior, but let me share something. Im sure you are quite aware, but instead of replying posts like "why dont you run one of my LS/VTEC motors", there is a more professional manner about handling the situation. Of course every business owner finds customers who arent happy, however, of course you want to minimize the effect that bad customer has on your new business. I think it would be benefical to sit down and explain whatever business troubles you might have had with anyone. After all, if your name is tarnished, your % of sales is going to hit rock bottom. If doubt is left in customers minds, they will take their business elsewhere, no body wants to do business w/ a shop that only comes through 50% of the time.

good ole Upgrade Engineering.. Works with Tim Haskell or something and Adam some guy from texas... took them 8 weeks to send my motor after threating them with a law suit.. Then the motor i received was poo poo.. i have pics if your interested.. but it basically came strapped on its side on a busted up pallet leaking oil.. althought the dowel pins were drilled it came with no work done no vtec plug no steel braided lines nothing wrong rod bolts and timing belt cracked valve cover" what i got was a b20 block with a b16 head bolted to it" . i basically had to take the parts and spend another 500 or so to make it right.." the only reason i accepted shipment was i was afraid to send it back and end up with nothing"
I would Never buy anyhting not even an oilfilter from Georgeheinz, Adam or tim or anyone that has anything to do with "upgrade engineering".
again i have pictures and reports to back my claims.. the lawyers recommended i gather that info..
also filed a complaintwith ifcca and the small business administration..
Used some nasty poo poo on the head gasket to glue it together? probably cause it failed leak test

leak? man i was so disgutsted i almost puked!

Even Yellow freight took pics of the pallet it came on.. dont be deceived by the shrinkwrap it was tied around the motor along with that wire you see

When i called gearhind from the shipping company and said WTF? he hung up on me..

I'm having the same problem as Civicfan did with Upgrade Engineering, in La Habra CA. But I've been fighting them for 4+ months. These guys are pissing me off. Won't even take my calls anymore. I'm meeting with my lawyer tomorrow. I already alerted my credit card company. They're working on refund.
These guys talk smooth. Espescially Tim. So don't call don't send them any $. Don't even tink about them.

Upgrade Engineering is abunch of thieves, scammers and just plain terrible businessmen. They lick A$$.

I got my motor built by Tim from Upgrade Engineering. My experience with them was great. they are dope guys that work there and the work they did on my motor is AWESOME. they do like 5-6 swaps a week.
he does a Clean Clean job. does all the wirering good and everthing. ive seen other motors in cars that he has done and they BONNE out, not to mention how clean of a job he did on them

as far as my setup goes it was a pretty budget set up. Tim really helped me out. but the results were AMAZING.
lsvtec with p30 pistons. intake exhuast headers
runs 13.8 on street tires.
