Cam Suggestions
Im looking to upgrade my cams soon before I dyno tune the car, looking for suggestions for my set up, thanks.
B18A block 81mm stock bore honed cylinder walls for the new pistons and rings
P73 A0-US Type R pistons
B16 head with new valve guides and seals, mild port and combustion chamber work. Comp Cams valve springs-becase I was going to try there cams out but I have not seen any feedback or results with them.
According to compression calculator Im only around 10.5 compression with 3 layer headgasket so very mild build. This is for a daily driver in my DA integra. IM not looking to rev it to 9k or anything, probably 7.5-8k max. Im sure ITR cams would work well, but would this setup do well with any aftermarket cams? Any positive input would be appreciated, thanks.

Well A nice smooth power and torque curve would be ideal. Its not going to have much bottom end I realize that, but a good midrange an upper midrange would be nice. Im not lookin to rev the guts out of it.
I dont BUT I know if you do a simple google search you will find lots of stuff, then narrow it down from there. Also search the forums here with Pro 1 or RM22xx dyno and see what comes up.
past few hours i've been doing some reading on choosing cams and it can get confusing and kinda complicated : (
At school I'm currently in my Engines I class and right now we're learning how to degree cams and just learning all about them and I come to realize there's a lot to think about and look at when it comes to cams.
My question is w/ a dyno sheet of the cams is there any way to some what determine how much power you could make by looking at the specs of the cams? what info would be needed to get an idea of the amount of air flow that would be entering the cylinder? Or is that really not needed?
