Goto your local auto-parts store, by a compression tester for 25 bucks and do it yourself.

 

Do it yourself. Oh, I mean, I'll do it for $100.00

Honestly, now. How difficult is the compression test for the we-todds of the world like me?

 

If you can remove a spark plug and disconnect an injector clip then you can do a compression test

Make sure you take all the plugs out,then test one by one.You'll get a more accurate reading this way.If you have a leak and leave all the plugs,it will not show a leak since all the other plugs are holding the compression.

Oh yeah! that is way too damn much for a few minutes of work.

ndont disconnect the injector's, you need to keep wot while doing compression test! eric

 

Yes you want to be at WOT to do the test but this is to have as much air as possible (open the throttle valve) in the cylinder. You disconnect the injectors so you don't dump gas needlesly in the cylinder while doing the test.

 

Or you remove the fuse the fuel pump

 

Yes that is another way to do it (don't me man, that hurts)
