How do I get my oil pressure down for my ballbearing GT series?......
So in the upper RPM's, my H22A1 maxes out at 75 psi oil pressure.......anything more than 60? psi will blow the seals on a ballbearing turbo, so what do I do to get the pressure on the line going to the turbo down to under 60 psi? I know a couple others here are running GT's, how did you do it?
Thanks!!!

You need to put a restrictor inline to the oil feed to the turbo. I was told need the actual before oil pressure going to the turbo then get the correct restrictor then retest oil pressure. I am planning on doing this on my new tubo also, I was told approx 40psi is all that is needed.

Here's the deal, you're running a -3AN line to the turbo right? On my setup, I had a -3AN line and a -3AN to 1/8 NPT male/male adapter on the block oil pressure sender tee. I took the -3AN to 1/8 NPT Earl's adapter and tapped the inside of the NPT end with an M6 tap. Then I took and M6 bolt and screwed it in tight, bottomed it out in the threads. Then I ground the bolt head off flush with the fitting and drilled a 0.078 inch hole through the bolt. Voila. If you start off small, like 0.040" you can tailor the pressure at the turbo to whatever you need.
