'91 EF hatch Code 7 -Throttle Angle
So I just figured out how to get codes out of these things and I have a code 7 which is throttle angle, basically something to do with the TPS obviously. This would make sense considering I've had intermittent bogging/low idle wanting to stall issues lately.
Would one simply replace the TPS? The car has 276 000KM's on it and the yellow tamper paint is still on the fasteners (speaking of which, what the hell are they, and how do you remove them - they don't seem to have a "head" on them?)
Thanks a bundle guys, I've been super impressed with the rapid and insightful responses on here thus far.

You drill the haeds of the bolts off. The tps will slide off then. Then use pliers or vice grips to get the rest of the bolt out replace with new screws with the same thread pitch you removed and done also set tps to .5 volts closed with volte meter
