Sometimes, especially in first and second gears, I will get this metalic click when I let off the clutch and give it gas. It mainly does it from a dead stop to first, and sometimes from first to second. It seems like it is related to the clutch. It does it on both upshifting and downshifting. When it happens, it is only one light metallic sounding click. (Knock on wood) the car is driving fine.... the noise just puzzles me. Anyone else experience this or know what it could be? Thanks.

 

same thing..... i think it's the throw-out bearing....... you could replace it, but if your experiencing that symtom now, you will need a new clutch in the near future, so you might as well get it since you have to take off the tranny to replace the bearing now.....
