Helo LS/Vtec probelm

Default Helo LS/Vtec probelm

hey every one, i have a major problem with my ls/v set up. bought it not running. has GSR ARP head studs, i need to take the head off and just bought every 12 point socket from 10mm-20mm and non of them will fit on the ARP nut. any idea of what i should be using?????

I belive the arp head stud bolts are 14mm 12point

1/2inch 12pt socket get a deep socket

thanks, ive tried both a 12 and a 14 deep 3/8 drive and neither seem to go around the nut.

if you have a 12mm 12 point and it doesnt work. take it to your bench grinder and and take allot off to fit into the hole. thats what i did when i went to put my head on the parts store was closed so i couldn't run to the store to get a deep socket.

thanks to every1, ended up being a 1/2 12 point 3/8 drive. got it off and trying to get it back together.
