Default FMIC Build Help

I need a FMIC either built from scratch or something available off the counter which I prefer. Width space is about 24in and Height is 12in and Thickness should clear a 4in. FMIC. (24in. would be one end tank to another end tank)

Any recommendations where I can buy IC that handles about 800hp ? 3in inlet (v-band) and 3in outlet would be great. I found a 25X12X3 FMIC but rated for only 400hp, would this matter if Im strictly driving quarter mile only? The core is 18X12X3, any info is greatly appreciated.

Tony will get ya hooked up, do you have room for a 4" core or bigger? Thickness wise?

I should clear a 4in core, just have to move the FMIC a little forward. Does it matter if it sits to close to the exhaust manifold? BTW, Im very new to turbo setups so I apologize for any retard questions. I was always a NA guy.

if your track only you might want to consider a water to air....precision make one rated at 1000hp...it adds more stuff...like the reservoir and a water pump but its way more efficient and will keep your iat cooler on hot summer days...

those are 3....do some research and you will probably like the idea better...air to air is more simple...but if u trailer your car to the track and dont mind adding a couple extra stuff go water to air...

Yea if you aren't married to an Air-Air for any reason an air to water would work great in your situation.

I also have a meziere pump to help circulate the water if you need one

Thats exactly what Im looking for but the only problem for me is that the outlet endtank would block the hitch/latch for my one piece front end. Who made your IC?

you should really be looking for a local company or a company you can ship the car to that can fabricate the setup specific to your car. there is no off the shelf intercooler thats going to just drop in. even with an a2w setup you might want to consider the same but it would be easier.

Alcohol doesnt require a cooling system right? Would I just plug up the radiator necks?

you can run the engine "dry" (no water) but we havent tried it out yet. we still circulate water through the engine.
