Default Whats the failure rate of Hulog

ive only had this setup of the ostrich and extreme hulog chrome pro for alomost a year now tuned first car just fine noew this second car im working on hulog will not connect to ecu ive tried everything i am computer savy removed and re installed drivers made sure all baud rates and settings are fine same as before switched cables no diffrence J12 is cut these are usdm ecus one a p28 and the other is p75 neither work so my question is how often these things go bad

Try it on a known working ECU.

havent no one around me has any lol im the only one with tuning stuff my buddy has a chipped ecu that he is gonna let me try but its never data logged before either may not even have data logging header in it wont know till he come through

ive read everyone elses problems and what not for hours on internet everyone ends up fixing it because of somthing stupid they missed i dont belive this is my case here

i do also have a good question for ya when chipping a p75 1980 board xenocron says to remove j4 but most people say only do this on jdm ecu should i remove both j12 and j4 to data log on this ecu thats the only i havent tried on this one yet but my chipped p28 doesnt data log either

I have yet to see a Hulog go bad.

I bet your problems are with Crome. Make sure you are enabling real time programming / datalog on your map and then loading to your ostrich BEFORE trying to datalog / open tuner contols.

.. and you do not need to remove J4

J4 on the 1980 board is removed as part of the conversion. J12 still needs to be removed.

well tried with a known good ecu today still nothing kinda mad i spent the money on this crap i looked into the others like ectune before i bought this **** but you can only tune one car and cant burn any chips with ectune so i got this **** i cant believe "crome" makers havent fixed this and yet people are still selling this crap wtf id like to talk to them i have yet to try it with freelog or somthing but if that doesnt work this hulog has to be the culprit

i just emailed crome creator or whatever and will be email the distributor i bought this stuff from and am going to see what they will do they shouldn't even sell this **** if it doesn't work am i right?

Crome isn't the problem either...the program had worked long before ECtune or Neptune were in the picture.

Datalogging in Crome didn't stop working just because it's creator abandoned it.

Goto the Tech Center on my website and go through the datalogging guide step by step...if you have questions after reading it, email me.

Not fixed will be trying more tonight but all is leading to bad hulog im not trying to start a thread against anyone which is the way this is going no one is at fault stuff goes bad get over it im just looking for a solution

well many thanks to craig at moates for the best customer service we may have come to a conclusion but wont know till later in week also thanks to chris at xenocron for putting up with me. heres to both of you my stress level is lower
