Hiemsnox del sol Build Thread
Well Ive been around a while but i never made a build thread... thought you guys might like to see where my del sol is right now.
94 Del Sol Si
5 Speed
160,XXX miles
Here it is when i picked it up with a "Bad Clutch" which ended up being just a broken axle... very easy fix and cheap

this is after i gave it a wash right after fixing the axle

Spring time wash after cleaned up

OK so here is where the fun begins, cause we all know a stock d16z6 is too slow
pictured is my first del sol, its the white one its auto lol and now sold, the primer one is my donor car, it is now sold as well after i put new parts and the driveline of the black one. and my black one

so here are some pics from the swap of the primer car and mine
Motor is a B18c with no numbers, so its the jdm type R and has matching Transmission
Heads are off of what i think is a GSR because of the p72 code on them
I really dont know the depth of the motor and what has been replaced because i havent torn it apart. but heres the pics

Now inside of the black sol

swap went well, had to deal with some really bad wiring from the PO and had to wire in the knock sensor with the new P72 ecu i bought that came from a GSR
Later I Stripped the paint of the truck because of some really bad fad and repainted it

Bought new wheels... HORRIBLE wheel gap

fixed the gap haha

and here it is the other day after a wash in the cold

Your kidding right? You do know there was a JDM Gs-R with a B18C engine code also. Check what the casting date is off your head and we can give you an idea what block you have. I HIGHLY doubt the block is an ITR. The serial number on the block should be 13xxxxx if its a 96-97 Spec ITR and 2xxxxxxxxxx if its a 98+ Spec ITR.

those wheels are just too big for a 'sol, 14's or 15's would be better. imo.
looks good though, nice find.
some people have lowered cars. if it snows an inch and a half my car isn't moving in any unplowed areas. i.e. my driveway.
rwds can't drive in the snow.
nice build. not much for the styling but its nice.
