i have a crx with a d16y7 in it obd0. i get a CEL for 02 sensor and replaced but still get it every time i drive but only once or twice and if i just shut it off and turn it back on(bump start) it goes away. its been like that since i got the car. Lately ive been getting a CEL 16 Fuel system error and it happens like every few minutes and if i shut it off and start it it goes away sometimes but not always. but then sometimes ill drive it for a month and wont get it at all then all of a sudden i get it again? i cant figure out what the problem is. changed the Fuel pressure regulator which fixed it for about a month but came back and went away again..

Have you checked resistence on your injectors

 

The main relay might be failing.

 

no i havent checked the resistance cuz i dont have anything to check it with, i heard it could be the main relay. it tries to start everytime just usually takes 2-3 tries to get it to start up and from what i hear a main relay with cause it to not even try to start?

 

Just check the main relay. No matter what your question is, 50% of your "answers" will be "check the main relay." It's true though, it does fail a LOT. It's not that hard, find some flared tips and slide 'em down on the relay connectors and then check each connector as your favorite DIY website describes.

It's also a 1 out of 10 difficulty.
