Default JHPUSA JDM fog light help

i got the kit from jhpusa they are the jdm fogs for a 96-98 civic everything is a plug and play system i hooked everything up but i ran into a problem with one of the wires coming off the switch. on the switch there are 3 wires that branch off the harness one is for ground other is for the power and the other is a yellow wire with a brown connector with a lable attached reading Lgnition. i assumed it was for the fuse box underneath the dash and i thought i was right because i saw 4 spaces for it to fit on the top portion of the box but when i tried to connect the brown connector it goes in about 1/4 then stops like its hitting something i tried all 4 spaces and each one does the same thing. is there another spot where it plugs into? i dont think i would have to bend the prong to get it to fit and i dont really wanna try it either. plz help!!! thx guys

i also thought that maybe the problem is the connector itself and i should just cut it and put a new connector on the end that will fit the prong. idk if the problem is that they are the jdm fogs and the connectors might be different and if they are make them not fit into the accessory ports in the fuse box (assuming thats where the brown connector goes). Still i'd like to know what u guys think. thanks for any replies

if it dont fit. cut the plug off strip the other end and use a female spade connector. itll plug into any one of the 4 ports. the furthest left it constant 12v so the other three is 12v only when key is in the on position. there are fuse's for the ignition one iirc its slot # 16 and 17 or something.
