UCA bushing torque procedure?
I ended up getting the CRX. Talked him down a bit. Anyway, I went through everything and the only issue I found was that the passenger UCA had some crappy cam kit and the bushings were worn. The drivers side has a new UCA.
I replaced the UCA with a new OEM style one from Napa. The bolts connecting the bushings to the control arm were loose. I assumed that I was supposed to preload the suspension and torque them once on the car. I then realized that there was only room for a wrench, so I tightened them the best I could. The UCA has popped a couple times on bumps since I put it on.
I did some searching, but only found one random post somewhere where someone stated that the bushings, bolts, and UCA have marks that you line up and torque before installing. Can someone confirm this? What do I need to torque them to if so?
Thanks!
