IMO if you want to spend all that $$ "going all out jdm" then buy a real deal JDM Type R. I think a fellow member was selling his CW JDM Type R recently.
Call me old fashion but I like USDM Type R's to remain as OEM as possible. That's the general opinion in this community.
Just my $.02
Anyways.....Welcome to ouR community!

why not rhd itr? they're an endangered species as it is between idiot drivers and thieves, and the fact that not that many were made... it'd be just sad to see another 'R thrown away because some one took a perfectly good car, butchered it up then gave up. why not do all the other mods you listed, THEN think about the rhd conversion? or pick up a gsr or ls n make it rhd?
LMAO....these are the people we don't want in our clique. [/troll]
but welcome to the family. like stated above, do all the mechanical mods FIRST, then see if you want to RHD. it not only takes away from the value of the car, it is also impractical and RICE in america.
i like your idea for high compression N/A beast. good luck with that build, should be interesting.

Enjoy the car for what it is, and what amazing potential that it has. Don't enjoy it in relation to some group or trend, or to fit in with a certain band of people.
Drive it, mod it to make the driving better. Buying parts to impress other people is a waste of your money, just do it for yourself.
The Type R is special, treat it that way.
Oh... welcome.
