91 Honda Loses electric Power when revving
I have 1991 Honda Civic with a d15b1 dual point that loses power when i give it throttle. The headlights dim, the stero cuts out, and under hard throttle the motor wants to cut out. It started after i put in a front strut bar. I unninstalled it and i cant find the problem!
pull the pass side carpet back and look at the ecu. I bet its blinking code 16 electrical load detector. Mine went bad too. You'll need to replace the entire under hood fuse panel bc it is built into it. They are cheap and easy to find. Took me less than 10 mins to change and all problems were solved
Yep wat they said eaither alternator. Or your eld. Both with cause problems your describing. If you don't got a code 16 or any other codes take your alternator some place to get tested
ok ill try that this weekend and also i forgot to add that also when i give it throttle my temp guage goes all the way up
