Need help with amp remote wire into original wire harness.
I just installed my system, and the remote for the amp cable isnt in the right place, its just to the power and turns on and off with the car, doesnt drain battery, but when lights are on they stop working and make a high pitch squel from the speakers. This also happens when the deck is turned off with the amp on.
Does anyone know where I need to put the remote wire in the factory wire harness, or what wire it goes to in that.
I need help ASAP and exact directions and description of it.
Thanks for any help.

Should go in the audio forum but...
High pitched squealing noise: Did you run the RCA cables and power wire on the same side of the car? That will produce unwanted distortion and high pitched noise weather deck is on or off, if the amp is on.
You should have a remote wire coming off the back of your 'deck'. it should be blue, or blue and white. You can use that to hook up your remote wire, though for subwoofers I always recommend splicing it into the ignition, that way you can listen to music without subwoofers when the key is at ONI position, and with subwoofers when the car is on.

No RCA's are on opposite sides. But I have subs. So the deck is hooked up to the ignition. (RED to RED) and then I take that blue and white wire just to the amp?
Because i have the blue and white to another wire out of the harness, and have connected the amp the the blue and white and it didnt seem to work..

? so wait... you should have a power wire from your bat. to your amp. your remote turn on should come from your head unit as well as your rca jacks. then ground your amp... If you have done this your should not have any problems. check all your wires again.
