Hey I got a 88 hatch that i was going to build up but for now i need a daily driver. I bought a d16y8 from a friend and i decided instead of having to buy a obd0-obd1 harness i would just use the d15 dizzy and the d15 intake manifold. All the sensors and stuff hook up and i have replaced all the gaskets but for some reason the car wont run. any suggestions? I need help asap . I got school starting in about 3 weeks.

are u running 4 or 2 injectors?

 

im assuming the 2 but i believe its carborated there are no visible injectors on it. want a pic?

Are all you grounds hooked up make sure the grounds that go on the termostat are connected well bolted down. Make sure the ground from the tranny to frame is connected and make sure the ground from the valve cover to the radiator support is connected. If that all checks out ok. Make sure all the plugs are pluget in and in the correct places. And make sure your spark plug wire are in the right order

 

Car won't run, start or crank? Is it getting fuel? spark? neither?

 

i did everything under the sun to get that damn thing running lol. but... wouldnt work so sold it and bought an eg. going to jdm corp tomorrow for my gsr!

 

 

hey now, no need for that lol. the ef is still sitting in the garage right next to the eg but i dont own it anymore lol. sold it too my little brother as his first project so i keep it in the family
