Fuel Pump gone out?
I have a 90 accord ex and recently my car won't start. I have reason to believe that the fuel pump has gone out completely. Before when it did run, sometimes it wouldn't start for some unknown reason. i noticed that i heard a sound go (like a pump or something) on whenever it would/could start and i wouldn't hear the same sound if it couldn't start and now the car does not have the sound completely and my car is a nice paper weight in my driveway..thinking its the fuel pump? maybe other problems with it too? ive had idle problems also such as low idle. Anyways if anyone can give me insight or ways to fix sed problem it would be greatly appreciated.
I had the same problem today with my 92 honda accord. I took the Main Relay out of my 92 Honda accord (#1) and swapped relays with accord (#2) and the car started right up. So I took the bad relay and plugged it to the running car and it did not start. Car cranked and I got spark but didn't run.
I can't say that I fixed the problem that caused it to go out. But I at least got the car running.
Im about to attempt to repair non-working Main Relay and ill post results if relay becomes fixable.

Im back and with great news.
I took apart the main relay. and the solder on two post were cracked.
I removed all the old solder and place new solder down. plugged the main relay back in. and the car is runnin. I plugged both relays back into both cars to make sure and both cars are running fine. You dont have to replace your relay just fix it if you can.
