my idle jumps on my d15b8 on my civic
im running a auto p28 on it. the p05 i had took a ****
and i got this for cheap.
but sometimes itll just stop but still run at a high idle like 1500 rpm
i checked my IACV and cleaned it.
help

Have you cleaned and adjusted the FITV?

^^X3^^ had the same issue, clean out the fitv and check all your vac lines.

 

I was lookin around on my car and I don't think my b8 has it I cleaned my throttle body and the Iavc nothin you know wack comin to a stop at a light having your car sound like it has asthma

 

Don't make helping you difficult. Any CEL codes? A stock b8 has a FITV attached to the bottom of the throttle body.

 

I have some pics I need to post up I took my throttle body off, im like 99.9% I don't have an fitv theirs just 2 hoses that run through.I was thinking maybe my tps? I am running an auto p28 some I'm getting the usual solenoid lockup cel but that's just cause I haven't converted the ecu to 5 speed. Is the fuel distribution different since I'm running the ex/si d16z6's ecu on my d15b8. When the idle maintains at 1k cause sometimes it'll just stop jumping and stay at 1k-1100k rpm and you hear like a little sputtering I'n the exhaust kinda like a low "pa paa paa pa..."
