d16y8 wiring on a crx

Default d16y8 wiring on a crx

ok..this is for my friend but all help woudl be appreicaited he has a crx with an LS ecu and he has a fields vtec controller and the swap never had the vtec solenoid hooked up so he needs info on that there are only one wire even left ont he solenoid he needs to know which wires go where kinda confusing

using the LS ecu will not engage VTEC,

and with using the Field's VTEC controller, I still believe you need that hooked up to the ECU otherwise you will be throwing a code with a regular VTEC ECU, i could be wrong though.

never heard of using a non-vtec ECU with a vtec controller.

Just wire the VTEC Spool Solenoid from it and run it to the Field's controller.

You will need the field's controller wiring diagrams in order to hook this up, with power and such to the controller.
