Default Vtec controller

I know u guys hate vtec controllers but i just did a ls vtec swap and i dont have the money for the right ecu wat i do have is a vtec controller laying around. so i hooked it up like i had it in my old civic and it reads the prms at 7500 and up when it is idleing. is the controller ****ed up or is it sumthing in my wiring or wat? i have a ls ecu. any help would be nice!

Probably wired in wrong... Do you still have the installation manual for your VTEC controller?

yes i have the diagram. and i wired it right according to the diagram. the two positives the negitive. vtec to the vtec solenoid. rpm to the dizzy. there is one wire called the VTM that i have no clue where it goes but i shouldnt need it should I? it reads that there is rpms just reads way to high.

The vtec controller is pointless without a wideband to tune your fuel adjustments in the afc. If you can't figure it out, take the car to an experience honda/acura dyno tuning shop.
