a lot of people are running the oem brake setup with skinnies on the back with no issues at all

we have always installed a Wilwood proportioning valve into the system so that we can bias the brakes to the front of the car to avoid any issues that could occur

I stop my car from 138-140 with skinnies and rear disk brakes no problem. Given my car weighs like 2180-2190 with me in it. You need to realize to if ur car is heavier its gonna take more to slow her down. Also i have manual brakes.

only time i ever locked up the rears on my car was stupid on my part. the first time my car trapped over 145 i got scared and layed on the brakes hard, the front dove a little more than normal, and hazed the front slicks. next pass, did the same thing, but i pulled the e brake a little too hard. it locked up the right rear. didnt come around on me, stayed straight and true. but hitting the brake pedal, even with ITR rears, i never locked up a rear.

now i just throw out the chute hahaa.

My first time on skinnies I hit the brakes really hard just to see what it would do... I didn't have a problem

I'v had them locked up on me an went for a ride (it was my falt. got on the brakes to quick to hard) i dont run rear brakes anymore. i capped the caliper so I just have the e-brake. and another thing by doing this is you can adjust the drag on the rear wheels. My rear wheels will free spin for days

i dont think they will, as the hub on the fly stars, is a little thick. depending on the tech guy. that would be a tough call.

yeah, it is pretty basic stuff, you have adjust clockwise or counter clockwise and just trial and error to see how you want it setup

in drag trim we just crank that thing to give most braking to the front - never ran the car on the street at all so haven't really played around with biasing it for a street use deal

How many of the fast guys out there don't have any rear brakes hooked up? I was told the drag from the rear brakes might be worth 1-2mph...?

I dont run rear brakes anymore. I had some issues flat spotting the rears at our local track and other tracks with short/bumpy shut downs. Plus I like doing nose manuals in my drag cars. lol

So clockwise for the front to grab more? car is only on the track now so really not concerned with the street

I've thought about taking out the rear brakes in my car, and just leaving the E-Brake "in case"

I flat spotted a skinny last year, but honestly didnt know it until later on the lift someone pointed it out, so I dont remember it even happening.
