Default which pistons for all motor b20?

wondering which pistons you would recommend im shooting for anything over 12.0 and 12.5 or less. Planning on running gsr head which is already put together. it has been milled .016. Block hasnt been to the machine shop as i am missing pistons. As soon as i recieve the pistons i will take it to the machine shop. I plan on running 92 octance pump gas with skunk2 tuner 3 camshafts.

I have found no definitive answers as to what the compression ratio is on the rs machine pistons in 84.5mm while using a gsr head.

Also the je pistons has one that is advertised at 12.2 comp with a b16a head or very interested in some Cp 11.5 which will put me at 11.8 with a gsr head? I know my head is milled already .016.

Suggestions on which piston i should use and please provide good reason as to why. thanks again.

dont know about the ycp, but i know the rs machine pistons for the 84mm bore accepts aftermarket rods, i'm pretty sure ycp does the same, just never used them.

RS machine or YCP ...........uhh ok what about them? hmmm im pretty sure i've researched them. from me posting "I have found no definitive answers as to what the compression ratio is on the rs machine pistons in 84.5mm while using a gsr head." Unqoute-or any head combination for that matter.

also at the bottom of my post i put."Suggestions on which piston i should use and please provide good reason as to why. thanks again." (keywords for those who are too damn smart to read the post) "please provide good reason as to why"

You sound like a highly intellectual person. Are you speaking in some kinda code that i do not understand? In what college or gallactical planet is the statement "RS machine or YCP" informative in anway? Smartass.

Well I believe Rs Machines rated them from 11:7:1 - 12:1, so I'd assume over 12:1 with a gsr head and 84.5mm bore.

This is what i have researched also. Im looking for specifics such as Cc's and compression height information.

rs machine are the best for pump gas just cuz they yield that compression you're looking for

Just get the Rs pistons bud. I did about 3 b20 with these pistons and they worked pretty good. One b20 made around 230hp.. with buddyclub cams....

trust me, it will be very hard to get accurate info like that if you try asking around, not even the morons at rs machine know themselves.

best bet is to let your machinist figure out everything, thats if you have the pistons.
