Default mIs my CR too high on my b20vtec?

I have a b20b4 block with gsr pistons, and a cometic .027' headgasket, on a gsr head thats ported and polished and 5 angled. Will this setup be too high to boost or should I just go all motor?

Yea I just bought the car. The engine now has 80k on it and it was built by a well know engine shop. So I'm assuming it has some oversized rings in it.

ok, you're not getting it.

gsr pistons = 81mm bore
b20b bore = 84mm

if the head is milled in conjunction with that headgasket 10:1 is entirely possible with the stock b20b pistons and gsr head

somebody liiiiiiiiiiiiiied to you boy, dont be suprised if your head isnt p&p either, if it is its probably a ghetto job

you should just sell that longblock and turbo a ls or ls vtec

if you go all motor and want to go decently quick you should pick up a big tb, nice im, decent sized cams and aftermarket valvetrain, some forged 12.5-1 pistons and a very nice header and some hondata thats 230 whp pretty easy

Im pretty sure that its p&p and 5 angled, I have the recipt for 3600 in parts and labor from Mondavi (sp.) in Macon, Ga. I can also hear the port job hum when I get on full throttle. Im actually thinking of getting the head milled to give me a 11.5:1 Cr, and I also have recipts for some BC Ti retainers, and some Ti lifters, Im too lazy to look through the records. It already has a JG 67 mm TB, Im just in dire need of some Hondata magic. Im really not in the market to break down my engine and sleeve it so I can boost it. Thanks for the info

UMMM. what?????

just cause you were given receipts for a bunch of parts doesn't mean those parts are in that car. my guess is the guy you bought your car from has a pretty crazy engine he built that is going in another car. and you have the receipts to prove it!
