Default H23a1 auto swap to H22A1 5 spd have ?'s

Hello to all and great site lot of info. I am mainly checkin to see if I am correct on parts still needed for my swap. H23A1 auto to H22A1 5spd both outta a 93 lude.

Ok I have read and searched until I couldn't read anymore and my brain started telling me to freakin quit before he overloaded.

I have engine, harness, tranny and correct me if wrong on anything or if I'm missing something.

Still needed

Starter, slave cylinder, resivoir, shift assembly with cables running to tranny, dampner and lines.

Is there an entire pedal assembly i can get instead of seperate pedals?

Do I need for sure the 5spd driver side axle and intermediate shaft?

I'm sure I have more questions but kids bother me so this is all for now.

Thanks for any input

Also what ecu do I need and what if a good place to get one? I've heard of a few but want the best.

You can modify an auto ECU to control the 5spd.

Ok got a starter and ordered master cylinder and slave cylinder. Its gonna take alittle bit of time running outta money until income tax gets here. I will be starting to remove the engine and other parts off of the car this week and will have them up for sale or trade when removed.

Ok so I deffinantly need the intermediate shaft but can get away with using auto axle right? Also whats the difference between the aut and manual axle?

I almost have all that I need to get this done I think.

I have tranny, clutch, flywheel, pressure plate, vss, reverse switch, mount, starter, throw out bearing, master & slave cylinder.

Still need clutch pedal, shifter assembly with cables to tranny, half shaft.

If missing anything besides ecu please let me know so I can find it also.

difference b/w auto -->manual axle is physical. You can see that the auto axle on the driver side is a loong single piece. With a Manual axle, there are two pieces that make up the drivers side trans axle.

have you considered the wiring portion of this swap? there are some wires you need to loop and what not.

I think im gonna be at the point of starting mine tomorrow. I had a manual donor car to rob parts off of. Your gonna need the clutch pedal, lines, cylinders, and reservoir. I switched brake and gas pedals but you could leave it the same. When you put in the clutch pedal there is the automatic interlock control box in the way. Remove it. There maybe some wiring here i missed let u know when I get it running. The starting wires run to the center console instead of into the fuse box. I wired in the clutch interlock relay in the center console so I didn't have to move much. The reverse lights are on a plug in the console also. I ran these over to the trans ecu plug and wired them using existing wires. The ecu plug might not have a vtec pins. If so your gonna need to add them. The o2 sensor plugs next to the under hood fuse box are different. The auto has ten pins the manual 4. I used the auto plug and ran my additional wires for reverse and vtec on the extra pins. I gonna check the key on wires to make sure nothing is crossed, put the dash back in, bleed out the fluids and hopefully fire it up tomorrow.

And the trans mount bracket is different. Get one from Explicit Speed Performance for 110. Or be super cool and get the mount set.

Financial issues has put everything on hold as far as the 5spd swap goes. I am still gonna swap in the h22 but leave the auto for now so daughter can drive until we get our finances back on track. Is there ne thing I would need that I haven't got for the engine swap if bolting up to the auto.

I think you would just need an auto p13 ecu and wire in vtec.

Been along time I know but figured would update. I had changed mind on putting 5spd in due to daughter wanting car and becoming driving age(SCARRY). So what I did was take the auto outta the Si and attached it to an h22 that I bought and had planned on installing instead and also bought a p13 ecu it is the 4w one but alot of people have been able to use them. Since buying all this my daughter decided not to take the car and so now I am stuck with all this and need to get ride of some to get her a car. I also went and bought 2 other ludes both 92 Si one auto one 5spd so I am gonna keep the 5spd for me now and part out or sale the other 2. I have posted in the for sale section here and the honda-tech marketplace I am located in Oklahoma.
Here is pics of the cars.....actually be better to click link instead of me adding all the pics I have. Here's link.... http://s760.photobucket.com/albums/x...relude%20pics/
