creaking sound for 5+ years still not fixed...
So whenever I drive I hear a creaking sound. It comes from the driver side. It sounds like its coming from the A-pillar or near the dash towards the outside wall.
It is louder when its cold. I figure it was a panel or something loose but everything is secure. I have no idea what it is.
It doesn't pose any safety concerns but is quite annoying when driving and I still haven't figured it out...
Anyone else have this problem?

Yup, its the inside rubber window molding on the driver's side door panel. I found out what it was when I installed new speakers in the car and drove without the panel to get some food and the sound wasn't there. After I reinstalled the door panel it came back. I did get it to go for a while by playing with the door panel but it eventually came back and now I just ignore it since its a very subtle short creak. Its one of those little details that makes our cars what they are.
I had this problem or something similar in my 95 gsr.
Turned out it was the vinyl on the door panel slightly rubbing on the side of the dashboard, due to the push tabs being older the panel seperated slightly from the door frame causing the noise.
Don't know if that helps at all?

Mine does the same thing once in awhile whenever I hit a bump/dip on the road. Thought it was my stock suspension going bad or something. Upgraded to new Zeal Function B6 coilovers over Xmas and thought it would go away. But, the creaking is still there. It's coming from the same location you are describing. Funny ****. Haha.

OK UPDATE - JUST TO SHED SOME LIGHT! WAHOO00oOoo that annoying clicking noise is finally gone. I can enjoy my car again with out the creaking noise!
The fix works guys, make sure you do it with someone who knows what there doing. you need to remove the bonnet once you have found the area you will see its covered it a hard silicon material you must chisel this off once your down to baremetal you can then bash the **** out of it using a centre punch.
Once hammered it go test it on a driveway if you can slightly still hear the noise keep hamering a way with a few more hits. After you have finished make sure you apply black paint back to this area so it doesn't rust.
Once this is done and the noise is completely gone I recomend you get this professionally done - PLUG Welding. Drill a hole in the area maybe a 3 holes the weld metal inside this will prevent it from coming back ever again from over time will make that area very stiff and rigid.
THE END OF THE CREAKING CRACKING CLICKING NOISE YaY!! ENJOY =oD

How did you remove the cowl tabs? I'm afraid to break them. Can you post a DIY post? This will probably help out thousands of integra owners.
