how accurate is autometer a/f gauge?

Default how accurate is autometer a/f gauge?

i just put in my autometer a/f gauge into my integra. it says that im running two bars rich which is prob right i was just wondering how accurate it was. thanks for any input

it's a safety measure, whether ur running lean or not...otherwise no it's not accurate.

Well, I hooked mine up and it always read rich when on the throttle. Then I got my car tuned and found out I was leaning out. So I'd say it's pretty inaccurate.

is it true that where you hook it up to can make it more accturate? i heard that from someone i was just wondering wether that was true or not

actually... its not precisely accurate.. considering its only tapped into the o2 sensor source. however, its usually a good tool in determining if youre leaning out or too rich at WOT. the reason why it fluctuates back and forth is because its not picking up an exact reading since the fuel system is always changin.
