i have no idea what to think about this. i know my car is running rich but when i get on it the AFR gauge dives all the way into lean. at 7k the engine feels like it wants to fall on its face. since noticing this i haven't taken the car past 6500. the odd thing is the gauge reads stoitch at all time. i know all the autometer gauges bounce around and lean toward Rich at wot. i am a little nervous about running in this weekends auto cross because of this. i've ordered a wideband O2 to check everything out but i don't think it will arrive before the race. does anyone have any experience with issues like this?
the set up of the car is 99 spec JDM R using the stock p73. the gauge is a Defi D gauge and is taking its signal from the O2 line into the ECU.
any help is greatly appreciated

 

its normal , you dont have a wideband 02

 

stock O2 sensor, which is what your gauge is running off of, is only accurate around 14.7 AFR. otherwise is gonna flop around all over the place.

 

so i you're saying i shouldn't realy worry about this then?
