I've noticed a few people have what appears to be a thin black piece of foam in between their lip and bumpers...I was told it was an OEM product not just 3m adhesive that barely sticks out or anything...does anybody have a part # for this or know where I could find one? I have an ej8 and I'm about to replace my lip with an OEM Si lip and would like to find this if I can. If it's a super rare thing does anybody have similar alternatives?

probably just a cushion of some sort for the lip not scratching up the bottom of the bumper. idk. just my .02

Practically all OEM lips use this, but 3m does make black adhesive foamy strips that you can buy at like vatozone or pep boys. or something.

 

It is to keep the lip from scraping the paint.
My OEM Sir lip didn't come with anything.
I have also seen people use double sided tape, weather striping, etc.

 

i got mine for my Mugen lip from Toyota. just call and ask for the rubber for a Camary type-s rear lip. probably a little longer than what you need but it was only 17 dollars.

bout as good as a pic i have, they come in black or grey.

Thank you that's exactly what I was talking about...what year camry type s? I don't know **** about toyotas so if they only made this a certain generation don't rag on me lol

I was worried to post this and get alot of hating comments but I guess it is kind of a unique thing....it looks really clean and seems like it would offer a decent bit of protection as I'm about to repaint my car after tax season.

Thanks for all the replies everyone if anybody has input on the honda model number it'd be cool but I think I'll be satisfied with the toyota route considering it seems like it'd me easily available as opposed to the honda one...
