DIY Underbody Kits
DIY
Step 1: Search
Step 2: Discover that 99% of body kits are gay and have nothing to do with "tuning."
Step 3: Learn that Honda had the body styling figured out right the first time.
Step 4: Re-focus on the stuff that matters i.e. suspension, wheels and engine.

What kind of underbody kit are you looking for information on?
If your referring to underglow lighting..... you may want to check the internet archives.
If you are referring to ground effects or body kits. It all depends on what type of kit you buy. The cheaper they are, usually the harder they are to install and the fit and finish isn't always that great.
There are a few classic styles that are available for the Accord chassis when it comes to ground effects. Not everyone thinks that Honda USA had styling figured out right the first time.
Since when did the Accord forum become all about tuning? Tech is Tech, would he get better answers in the paint and body section..... maybe, maybe not. You have to remember that the Accord community is a little bit different than the rest. Most of us who are here to help don't mind giving out tech tips that cover the entire chassis, that includes body mods.
Honestly....... as much as I am not a fan of slammed JDM Accords with ridiculous offset. The body styling of a JDM Accord is so much cleaner than that of the USDM Accord. AKA the JDM specialties, Honda OEM SiR, Mugen, & Greddy just to name a few.
I do agree with this. Make sure that all of the general maintenance is covered then go on to looks. Safety and Function > Form alone!

Yeah I'm not sure if that is something that many guys are into anymore. Show cars are pretty much the only ones I see with them these days. IIRC in most places they are illegal to be used on the street. May want to check that out, unless your only going for the parking lot glow.
I have never worked with them so I'm not sure about mounting them. I can tell you that they should be mounted up above the sub frame rails. Don't mount them anywhere that rocks from the wheels may hit.

Generally speaking, it's not too difficult. The biggest part you should be concerned with is the placement of everything, too low and everything is exposed and ugly. Too high up and the lighting may not look even.
StreetGlow stuff comes in a plexi-glass tube that you can mount. As to splicing for power, I personally would run wires yourself to a switch, as it is not legal to have it on while moving. Probably want to fuse the wires as well.

Theres a few people that did accords on there.
Its not expensive at all either. Those corny depo LED tails look terrible and cost more that what I spent all together. Plus I used high quality parts.
