Are you going to do it yourself? If so, I recomment Home Depot! 1/4" plywood and some sheet rock screws! Then while you're there, pick up some gutter mesh for a cool, custom grill!

like i just said in an earlier thread, wrong forums man. 99% of the people on honda-tech hate body kits. so you wont get much help here. not to mention that this forum is specifically for honda tech.. body kits are appearance, not tech.

oh. sorry. its only my first actual day on here, so...

anyways. If body kits arent really that important, ill spend money for some new camshafts, rods, and crankshafts. i still have a lot of stock parts, but i did just get my car when i turned 18 (recently).

C-West, Mugen and Buddy Club make nice looking kits in general... but some people are completely anti body mods, so expletive them.

C-West

Mugen

99-00 Civic, thisis just a lower bumper lip, not a complete bumper... VERY VERY SICK!!!

Buddy Club

^^^that last one I think is a knock-off, but you get the idea.

oh yea, there is an appearence/cosmetic forum where questions like this should go...

It's your car so do what you like. Alot of the guys including me only like trim lips and other sutle changes. I wouldn't buy anything off Ebay. Try Bulletproofautomotive. They carry alot of clean kits and can order almost anything and it will be real not a remake of something else.

just don't get a body kit that goes against the aesthetic flow of the car.

Body kits look fine as long as it's not anything similar to the black widow or any of it's counterparts.

Back yard special is nice.

I'm against body kits because

1. They're typically expensive when said and done.
2. They are hard to make "OE" looking.
3. Usually poor quality.
4. Expensive for taking up DD abuse.

They really are. They're expensive for the body kit, then you still must paint match the thing. Lots of money.

Plus... They crack.. then what?

why you gonna go flamin the kid over the fact that he likes body-kits. .
maybe he doesnt feel like hoppin on the JDM/lip kit band-wagon
and he was just askin for companies with nice body-kits and not for personal opinions on whether or not he should get one cuz it seems the OP has already made his mind up that he is going to. .
so therefore, if your not a fan of body-kits at all, just dont fvckin reply at all. and go find a topic where your opinion matters. .

in the end its his car and his choice to do what he wants with it. .
and the "key" is to build your car to how you like it. even if it means plastic spinners and a triple stack spoiler. .
