Icon2 How do I convert SOHC to a V-Tec SOHC?

My 91’ Honda Civic STD Hatchback runs like a champ, it has the d-15 SOHC with the good old 4-speed. It’s a go-cart but I’m looking for more. What motor would be the best swap? I don’t need a drag car just something more? I have heard that I can fix up the SOHC to a V-Tec SOHC, how do I do this?

well the first thing your going to do Noob is your going to read the rules of the forum THEN your going to use google or the SEARCH button because this has been covered id say about a million times!!

first thing being ditch the 4 speed and get a si 5 speed
second mini me with mpfi swap
third don't ask how to do it SEARCH how to do it.. and if you have a problem while doing it SEARCH some more.. and if you still cant figure it out search again THEN ASK

in the room there is something called "CRX & Civic FAQ Version 2.0"

the H-T search sucks, dont waste your time.

its better to search on google. like this site:www.honda-tech.com sohc vtec mini me

you have a D15 not a B15. You can get vtec as simple as slapping on a D16Z6 head (mini me swap like1990crx mentioned)

Personally i went the way of full D16Z6 motor with OBD1 conversion. SOHC VTEC
